Screening appointments
You may not know yet if your child should have a full ADHD assessment. Talking to a professional in the first instance can be helpful when making this decision.
Screening appointments
Our screening appointments are an hour long. During this time, you will meet with a clinician - either in person, or online. Before your appointment, we will have sent you forms to gather some information about your child and differences you see in them. At the appointment, the clinician will ask about your concerns, and why you are thinking about an assessment.
They will ask a variety of questions to find out all the information we need to make recommendations. It is helpful to have your child present for some or all of this depending on their age, in order for the clinician to meet with them. The clinician may be able to tell you at the appointment what assessment would be appropriate, however, the clinician may discuss the information with the clinical team before sending you recommendations.
Following your child's screening appointment, you will receive a letter with recommendations within two weeks of your appointment. Contact us to find out more about pricing for this appointment.
