Autism assessments for children

At Evolve, we offer autism assessments for children and young people via the NHS Right to Choose pathway, or you can fund it privately.

How to request an assessment 

You can come to us for an autism assessment through two routes - the NHS Right to Choose pathway, and the privately-funded route. We are recognised as an approved provider by NHS England through the Right to Choose route for autism assessments in children and young people. If you would like to be assessed through this pathway, please go to your GP and ask them for an assessment with us at Evolve. 

The assessments can be done in person, online or a combination of both. Not everyone can have a solely online assessment. This can be discussed on booking.

Privately funded 

We are able to offer privately funded autism assessments. We accept referrals from health insurance companies. The assessments can be done in person, online or a combination of both. Not everybody can have an online only assessment, this can be discussed when booking your assessment.

We assess children and adults for autism and ADHD through the privately funded route. We accept referrals from private insurers.

The current wait time for the NHS Right to Choose child assessment is 12-16 months. This is subject to change.
